Description Great Opportunity for a Restaurant Chef (posted February 8th) in Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania.   

Gaming Hospitality Executive has been retained to assist a casino, hotel, resort company in Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania to identify candidates with culinary experience.

Job description for the Restaurant Chef is as follows...

 

  • Maintains food costs and labor percentiles.  Ensures that food quality is consistently maintained.

  • Monitors all aspects of food service in assigned area to ensure quality, sanitary preparation and presentation.

  • Orders and supplies outlet as needed.

  • Implements and adheres to all sanitation guidelines.

  • Promotes positive customer relations; handles customer complaints.

  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.

  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements The Following qualifications are Required for the Restaurant Chef:

 

  • Formal culinary training preferred
  • Five (5) years culinary experience required.
  • Resort experience preferred.  

  • Good leadership skills. Good communication skills.

  • Promote and participate in a strong team effort.

  • Candidate must possess excellent computer skills.
