Job Description 

A manufacturing company is looking for a Process Engineer. 

This individual will:

  • Review on daily basis all respective jobs being run on the floor
  • Provide operational run and load times
  • Provide problem identification and solutions
  • Responsible for updating and modifying work instructions to process
  • Be responsible for processed jobs to be efficient and run within times estimated
  • Gathering all outside service quotes pertaining to quote
  • Assure that all specs, documentation and revisions required to build the part are available
  • Process jobs
  • Inspect performance of machinery, equipment and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  • Provide guidance for design concepts, specification requirements and best practices to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plan
General
Hours expected to work per week is 45 to 50 hours

Skills Required (see full details below)
Good communication skills for customer interfacing
Pro E/ Pro M knowledge with a minimum of 1 – 2 years experience
Microsoft Office, Windows, CAD CAM experience, Micro-Estimating
Continue Learning and Education for improvements in tools, machine methods, etc.

Salary Range
$50,000 to $60,000 based on experience and skills
 


Job Requirements 


Requirements

  • Must have 1-2 years experince as a Process Engineer or experience in a similar position
  • Must have experience with Pro E/ Pro M
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, CAD CAM experience, Micro-Estimating
  • Must be able to Quote and Estimate
  • Must be able to update and validate cost on repeat jobs
  • Must have the ability to fabricate and design tooling for Precision Machining of components.
  • Must be able to Create BOM (Bill of Material)
  • Must be able to requisition tooling material and all items on bill of material (BOM)
  • Must be able to develop manufacturing process plan – plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for fabrication that affect product performance.
  • Must have strong communication skills for customer interfacing
  • Must continue Learning and Education for improvements in tools, machine methods, etc.
