Today we operate through three distinct distribution channels:



  • Waddell & Reed Financial Advisors. Drawing upon a depth and breadth of investment and risk management products, our national network of financial advisors provides comprehensive investment and personal financial planning to clients across the U.S. Waddell & Reed, Inc., offers financial planning services in its capacity as a registered investment advisor.

  • Ivy Funds Wholesale Distribution. Through our national wholesaling efforts, we distribute our products to retail clients through broker/dealers, retirement platforms and independent registered investment advisors.

  • Institutional Management. Many of our investment strategies from Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company and Ivy Investment Management Company are offered to defined benefit plans, pension plans and endowments. We also provide sub-advisory services to other investment companies.



The Waddell & Reed Advisors Funds, the InvestEd Portfolios and Ivy Funds Variable Insurance Portfolios are managed by Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company and distributed by its subsidiary, Waddell & Reed, Inc. Ivy Funds are managed by Ivy Investment Management Company and distributed by its subsidiary, Ivy Funds Distributor, Inc.
