Continental has two groups which consist of different divisions. The divisions Chassis & Safety, Interior and Powertrain are part of the Automotive Group. The Tire division and ContiTech division belong to the Rubber Group. Continental is a continuous driving force for future mobility concepts, and not just in the automotive industry.

Chassis & Safety
The Chassis & Safety Division develops and produces electronic and hydraulic brake and chassis control systems, sensors, driver assistance systems, air bag control systems, washer systems and electronic air suspension systems. Its core competence is the integration of active and passive driving safety into ContiGuard®.

Interior
Information management is at the very heart of the Interior Division, which provides a range of products that includes instrument clusters and multifunctional displays, control units, electronic car-entry systems, tire-monitoring systems, radios, multimedia and navigation systems, climate control systems, telematics solutions and cockpit modules and systems.

Powertrain
The Powertrain Division integrates innovative and efficient system solutions for vehicle powertrains. The comprehensive range of products includes gasoline and diesel injection systems, engine management, transmission control, including sensors and actuators, as well as fuel-supply systems and components and systems for hybrid and electric drives.
Tire division The Tire division includes the Passenger and Light Truck, the Commercial Vehicle Tire and the Industrial Tire business units, as well as the Two-Wheel Tire activities. The Tire division currently has 22 production and development locations worldwide. The broad product range and continuous investments in R&D make a major contribution to cost-effective and ecologically efficient mobility.

ContiTech
The ContiTech division numbers among the leading suppliers of a host of technical rubber products and is a specialist for plastics technology. The division develops and produces functional parts, components and systems for the automotive industry and other important industries.
