Vitran Corporation Inc. is a leading, predominately non-union provider of freight surface transportation and related services throughout all of Canada and in 27 states in the eastern, central and southwestern United States. Its business consists of less-than-truckload services (LTL) provided by stand-alone subsidiaries, Vitran Express, Inc and Vitran Express Canada, within their respective countries.

The Company operates more than 80 customer centers across the U.S. and Canada and employs more than 5,500 team members in the safe, efficient, and timely shipment of freight on both sides of the border. The business units operate independently or in a complementary manner to provide solutions depending upon a customer’s needs within or across the border. In addition, the Company offers its services to other regions in the U.S. through its strategic inter-regional relationships with partners.
